Not gonna lie, I was expecting the shipping to be more of a hassle, but ordering from TickTalk was actually really smooth. I got updates along the way, and the package showed up quickly with everything in good shape. Nothing was damaged or missing, so overall I’m really happy with the delivery experience

I got TickTalk mainly because I wanted to control who my kid can call, that part has been a huge relief. Adding contacts in the app is straightforward, and I love that random numbers can’t just call the watch, because apparently my brain was fully prepared to imagine every worst-case scenario possible.

The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is that sometimes the contact updates take a little while to show up, or I have to refresh the app like I’m trying to revive a spaceship console. It’s not a massive problem, but in the moment I definitely act like the entire system has betrayed me.

My snap judgment after using it a bit: the watch itself works fine, but the camera is disappointing. Most pictures come out blurry and too dark, and for the price, I expected better

The watch itself has been decent and does what we need for the most part, which is why I’m torn. My kid likes it, and it works okay, but the privacy side just leaves me uneasy. The app asks for a lot of permissions, and the settings feel way more confusing than they should. I kept looking for a clear explanation of what data is being saved and who can actually see it, but it never really felt straightforward. Maybe everything is totally fine, but for a device made for kids, I expected way more clarity. It’s hard to fully trust it when the product is good in some ways but makes you second-guess the important stuff

Got the TickTalk watch today and the setup was easy overall. I did have to go back and read the instructions twice in a couple spots, like when entering the SIM info and figuring out the activation part, but it wasn’t anything super confusing or frustrating. After I put in the SIM details and restarted the watch, everything started showing up in the app after about 10 or 15 minutes. My kid was able to call me right away after that, which was a big relief. We tested a call, checked the app, looked at the contacts, made sure the watch was connected, all that stuff. So far it’s been a good first experience with no major problems.

I bought this mainly for the GPS tracking, and it’s been frustrating. It’ll show my kid blocks away from where they actually are, and sometimes it even looks like they’re at some random house. The updates are slow too, so by the time it finally refreshes, the location is already wrong anyway. I’ve wasted so much energy restarting it, checking settings, and trying to figure out if I missed something, but nothing really fixes it. For the price, I expected a lot better

I don’t want to overpromise because everyone uses their device differently, but for me the battery has lasted all day. I was a little skeptical at first, but so far I haven’t had to worry about constantly charging it.

Been using the TickTalk for a little while and the screen is really responsive. Taps open fast, swiping feels smooth, and my kid hasn’t had any trouble with it. No freezing so far. I’m happy with it.

I wasn’t totally sure what to expect, but the signal has been good in most places. Calls connect fast, even when I’m sitting in the school pickup line, which surprised me. I keep waiting for it to be spotty somewhere, but so far it’s been way better than I thought it would be.

Got this for my kid and it fits just right. They said it’s really comfy too, so no complaints here.

For what I paid, I’m happy with it. It’s not perfect and there are a couple little things that feel a bit basic, but overall it does what I need and feels like good value for the money.

The build feels solid, like it’s put together well enough and doesn’t seem flimsy or anything.

I got this mostly so I could call my kid without having to hand over an actual phone, because apparently every solution these days wants to push you in that direction. the call quality has been a lot better than I expected. Voices come through clear, and it rarely cuts out, even when he’s outside running around. The video calls are solid too. Not exactly phone-level perfect, but definitely clear enough, and it usually connects quickly. It gives me a lot of peace of mind, and my kid actually enjoys using it, so it’s been a win for us.

I don’t know, I just had a gut feeling the SOS button would be useful, and I’m really glad it was there. When we actually needed it, it worked fast and made the situation feel a lot less stressful.

I’ve been using TickTalk for my kid, and the messaging has been really dependable. When I send a text, it comes through quickly and I haven’t noticed any strange delays. It gives me peace of mind knowing I can check in easily and actually trust that the message will get there
